Spring Newsletter

Lois J. Ricciardi Piano Studios, LLC

February 1, 2016

Dear students and parents,

Our spring semester is well under way, and students are back in the groove of practice. We look forward to lots of progress as we continue to instill the love of music.

Student newsletters often don’t get home in a timely manner. They come back to lessons week after week still in the student’s assignment book. Our website will keep you up to date on events and times. All newsletters are also found on kauaipiano.com. Please see our website for the latest information. It also includes a worthwhile music “quote of the week.” We have added a musical question that will change each time it is answered correctly. Text me the answer at 808-639-0687. Answer it correctly and the student will go in the “Composer Whiz Hall of Fame.”
Semester runs from January 4 – May 31.
Tuition remains the same each month, as tuition is figured on a semester basis. Please see brochure for additional information.

Holidays observed by studio this semester:
• Conference (Lois) March 3-5
• Spring break: Friday, March 25- Thursday, March 31
• National Piano Guild Auditions: May 16-19

April 30 9:45 or 2:30 “ “ “

Recitals: Saturday, June 4, 2016 choice of 3 or 5 pm, Lihue Parish Hall.
Please let us know which time you prefer by May 14 so that we can honor your choice.

National Piano Guild Auditions:
This year’s National Piano Guild judge is Mary Rozanski from Texas. I will give you more information when I receive it.

Please have your pianos tuned once a year. Music is an aural art. Students need to hear the music correctly.

Thank you for encouraging, supporting, and complimenting the students in their practicing and performing. These important things are what make students become successful pianists.

Great opportunity coming up very soon! See information below.
